I bought a dealer-used Acura with only 4800 miles on it. It now has under 10,000 miles and the '*** light has come on twice for service. Had an a1 service done at 6,ooo miles and it came on again at 9,800. Service guy tells me it's the computer based on weather and driving conditions. I bought the extended warranty, and it says it's void if service no done when called for.
Who has ever heard of oil changes every 3,000 mile (or less)? With today's synthetic oils & blends this sounds absurd and a real ripoff. I was going to purchase a new TL for my wife, but I get an Audi instead.
Acura should be ashamed that they are ripping off their customers!
